Creating Resolutions You'll Feel Empowered By

With 2022 winding down, talk about resolutions, manifesting and plans for 2023 is everywhere. And while it's great to get excited for the year ahead and want to put some resolutions in place for yourself, they way you do so really makes a difference.

If you're like me, when you start thinking about what the next year should be like, you might find yourself running a list in your head of all the things you need to improve about yourself and your routine - wake up earlier, eat less sugar, be on my phone less, be more productive, etc, etc. This can feel overwhelming and leave you feeling really negative about yourself, which is not a great place to set intentions from.

A different way to go about it is to start by looking at some things you're proud of yourself for from the previous year then look at how you can build on those things for next year. Just by making the list, you'll be starting this process from a place of gratitude and positivity and setting intentions from this energy will leave you feeling more empowered and motivated to actually stick with those resolutions.
